What are the basic care guidelines for chinchillas?

I’m about to get a new chinchilla, and I have never had one before. I need to know what the basics are for chinchilla care. I’ve always wanted a chinchilla, and I’m having to save up nearly 0 just to get one. I’ve done a ton of research, but I’m still a little confused. If you know any sites that I can go to for help, that would be great! Any information you could provide, I would greatly appreciate it! Any suggestions?
