What kind of chinchilla cage should I get?

Okay, so i’m getting a chinchilla soon….and i want to know what kind of cage would be best for him. I dont have a lot a lot of money so something reasonable. I want something kinda large so my chinchilla has enough room to play. Thankyou! (:

They have a cage called a Ferret Nation (model 142) its an awesome cage! I have one for my 2 chinchillas. Ferret.com also price matches too and on all orders shipping is only $6
I also second getting your cage from http://www.qualitycage.com they have some wonderful cages and you can buy some with everything you need to get started (shelves, food dish, water bottle, hay box, hidey house)
I would say not to get your cages from Petsmart or Petco either. Most are plastic (which are very bad for chinchillas) and aren’t very sturdy.

something that is at least 2×2x2 ft with NO plastic. Trust me, you do not want to learn that the hard way.
http://www.qualitycage.com/ has some pretty good cages for reasonable prices.
note: I wouldn’t get your cage from Petsmart or PetCo etc. since most of the cages are too small, and the big ones are really expensive.
