   Not necessarily. If you provide your chinchilla with a wheel inside their cage, they do not even need out of cage time. Out of cage time, is just a great time for animal and human to bond, while giving the Chinchilla a safe environment to stretch in and explore.
   I am not saying they couldn’t be kept out for 2 hours, you can keep your chinchilla out as long as you want, it is a personal preference.

   Fruits and vegetables should not be fed as meals, because Chinchillas are so sensitive to getting diabetes, from the sugar content in fruit. But if kept at a minimum, they will not do them any damage.

   It all depends on the chinchillas. Most of the time they will get along if introduced earler in life. Males are just much more aggressive.

    The cage actually shouldn’t be longer than it is tall - they love to jump. just make sure you have enough levels for them to jump around on (all wooden, of course)
    Chinchillas should never be fed fruits or vegetables!! the moisture and sugar can upset their systems, causing death! Also, if the pet store says “Chinchilla safe”, that’s not necessarily true.
    Otherwise, most of this video was pretty accurate.

    i disagree with one thing in your video. It is the FEMALE chins and not the males who fight. I have read this in 2 books and have personal experience. I have 2 males and they get along fine and are not related. If you do want 2 females however and don’t want to separate them, get sisters, or a mother and daughter as they have a much higher chance of getting along. There are of course some exceptions and some females do get along fine but I’m just saying be careful. Great job on this otherwise
