Chinchilla As Pet

I am about to get a chinchilla… and have been educated on all costs but vet costs and I would like to know how much i will be paying before I commit to the chinchilla. How much will the needed vet care costs like exams, vaccinations, etc.?
I know i cannot predict problems, but how much should i expect to pay for a checkup?
If the chinchilla has problems i wouldnt care how much i would have to pay… as long as he is healthy
